Jake Parker is an 18-year-old photographer based in Montclair, New Jersey, and Providence, Rhode Island. His photos explore the dramatic nature of everyday life: He tells multiple stories in each image with a photojournalistic take on fleeting moments. 
He has been the photographer for The Mountaineer, Montclair High School's local newspaper, and the President of Montclair High's Photography Club from 2023 to 2025, as well as the head of Photography in the high school's Fashion Photography Club. 
He is currently at Brown University, where he is a photojournalist for the Brown Daily Herald, a member of The Optic Photography Magazine, and a Live Session Video Lead for the WBRU Radio Station. 
He has been published in The Boston Globe for his coverage of Brown University's response to the Trump Administration's Compact for Higher Education.
